Attention, Riders Wanted!

Sunset Empire Transportation District wants you to ride the bus! The bus has a brand new RIDEPAL program that helps teach seniors and people with disabilities how to ride the bus safely and independently.

Have you wanted to use the bus and have been concerned about how much it costs, how to read the bus schedule or what to do if you use a scooter or wheelchair? The RIDEPAL program will answer all your questions and teach you how to get where you want to go by giving you a PAL. This RIDEPAL will give you hands on assistance based on your own individual needs and skills. Training can be done individually or in groups. Before you know it you will be an expert on how to ride the bus.

As our population continues to age our needs for safe and accessible transportation is vital to our quality of life. SETD sees giving transportation options to seniors and people with disabilities as a top priority. Let our RIDEPAL program volunteer help keep you active and teach you how to get where you need to go.
