Bus Driver
Sunset Empire Transportation District (SETD) will accept applications for qualified bus drivers at any time. Please read over the job description/requirements below. Complete and submit the SETD application form either by mail or deliver to 900 Marine Drive, Astoria, OR 97103.Qualification Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class B, with Passenger endorsement and Air Brakes endorsement.*
- Good driving record. (Will need to show proof if you are applying.)
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Ability to understand oral and written instructions.
Steps for obtaining a CDL Permit
- Read the CDL manual from the DMV
- Go to your Doctor and get a CDL physical (You will need to show proof that you had a physical to the DMV)
- Go to the DMV tell them what you want "CDL Class B permit with Passenger and Air Brakes endorsements“ you will take the tests.
