"The Bus" Employment Opportunities

Bus Driver Qualification Requirements - SETD will accept applications for qualified bus drivers at any time. Please read over the job description/requirements below. Complete and submit the SETD application form either by mail to PO Box 68, Warrenton Oregon 97146 or in-person at the Warrenton office at 465 NE Skipanon, Warrenton.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Class B, with Passenger endorsement and Air Brakes endorsement. ** ***
3. Good driving record. (Will need to show proof if you are applying.)
4. Must be 21 years of age.
5. Ability to understand oral and written instructions.
NOTES:
**We do prefer two years previous driving experience.
*** If we are in great need, we periodically accept people with just a CDL permit W/ endorsements and will train them. You will need to obtain the permit on your own.
Steps for obtaining a CDL permit are:
1) Read the CDL manual from the DMV
2) Go to your Doctor and get a CDL physical (You will need to show proof that you had a physical to the DMV)
3) Go to the DMV tell them what you want-CDL Class B permit with Passenger and Air Brakes endorsements- you will take the tests
