Appointments must be made 4 days in advance.

PLEASE LET DISPATCH KNOW IF YOU NEED TRANSPORTATION TO ONE OF THE DAV VAN PICK UP SITES WILL BE ARRANGED.

Free transportation is available for veterans to the VA Medical Center in Portland, Vancouver VA Medical Center, Hillsboro VA Medical Clinic and the North Coast Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Warrenton.

The North Coast DAV Transport Van leaves Astoria stopping at designated pickup points along Highway 26 or Highway 30 depending on schedule needs, to arrive in Portland at 9:30 am as needed Monday through Friday. The return transport leaves Portland around 3 pm.

All medical transportation rides must be scheduled through the DAV Dispatch Center. Separate transportation services will provide rides to the DAV pick up points may be arranged as well.


Military Discounted Monthly Passes Bus Passes

Any Military personnel who show a current Military ID Card, Military Discharge Papers or Drivers License that has Veterans ID may purchase a monthly or yearly bus pass at a reduced rate. Discounted passes may only be purchased at the Sunset Empire Transportation District Transit Center in Astoria.

Discounted Monthly Passes are $30.00 and Yearly passes are $330 and may be used on all Sunset Empire Transportation District buses.
